Townley rules in Aichwald
The 4th round of the new ADAC-MX-Masters series took place in Aichwald near Stuttgart. In front of about 8000 spectators last years MX2 world champion Ben Townley won overall before Ken de Dycker and Kornel Nemeth. Perfect organisation and track preparation and the huge crowd build up the great scenery for this event.

The start with Joes Dobes (#21)
KTM-Factory rider Townley (1/1/1) won all the three races. But he had to fight hard, especially in the second heat. The battle with de Dycker and Nemeth about some laps was one of the race highlights this weekend. Only when de Dycker became break problems with his Sarholz Honda it was Nemeth who pushed hard. Till the finish line Townley and Nemeth were separated only by one second.

The current series leader Ken de Dycker (2/3/3) went 2nd overall. The Sarholz Honda rider showed some good speed. In the first heat he led till Townley, who came from about 6th or 7th position after lap one, passed him. But that was no problem for de Dycker because Townley is not an aspirant for the Masters title.

Kornel Nemeth (6/2/2) was one of the fastest riders in Aichwald. With pole on Saturday, two 2nd places, close behind Townley, Nemeth presented himself in a very good shape. Only a bad start in race one, when he came back from outside the top fifteen to 6th position, kept Nemeth away from a further podium.

Aigar Leok with constant results
The Team Kosak riders Aigar Leok (3/5/7) and German Max Nagl (5/4/9) went 4th and 5th overall, respectively. In particular Max Nagl was not able to demand his normal performance. Without attracting attention he finished every race outside the podium.

Andrew McFarlane (9/-/8), current leader of the 2005 MX2 championship, showed a disappointing performance. He started well in all three heats and lost some positions.
Joes Dobes (7/-/-) was back after his injury. In the first heat he rode almost the whole race in 5th position and only Nagl and Nemeth passed the Kawasaki Factory rider. Bad luck for Dobes in the 2nd and 3rd heat with crashes and technical problems.

The “Joker” Marco Dorsch (21/7/-), on his KS-Yamaha, has bad luck, as well. In the second heat the “Joker” rode as fast as Leok and Nagl and finished in 7th. In heat three Dorsch lay again in the top ten but with technical problems the race was over for him.

The Joker is leading the Swiss Masters but has no luck in Germany
