De Dycker on top – Nagl injured – “The Joker is back!”
These are three of the most important information which are caused by the traditional winter motocross in Frankenbach. Sunny weather, a respectable quantity of spectators and many good riders were the promising pre conditions for this event. Only the absence of “german” riders like Dobes, Dugmore, Schiffer, Chittaro, Schröter and Alex Heu was a pity for the fans. The regulations were the same like last year, two semi finals, a B- and A-final.

1st Semi-Final - # 99 Lukas Weis made a good start ...
In the first semi final Max Nagl took the lead immediately after the gate went down. He showed an impressive speed and led the pack through the first laps. Kornel Nemeth on his Kurz Suzuki was in 2 nd followed by Michael Kadlacek. Nagl assured his lead for three laps but then unfortunately injured his ankle and the race day was over for him. Hopefully he is able to ride the MX2 world championship kick off in Zolder on April 3 rd.

#57 Fabien Izorid
Because of Nagl's DNF it was a clear and easy victory for Nemeth in front of Kadlacek and Aigar Leok. Leok came from a middle-rate start and after he had passed Daniel Siegl he closed the gap to Kadlacek. In the last two laps Leok tried several times to pas Kadlacek but without success. Siegl finished in 4 th. At the beginning of the race Siegl had similar speed like the top three. With proceeding race distance he wasn't able to keep his speed and the gap grew and grew.

#1 Max Nagl had bad luck and injured his ankle.
The second semi final was dominated by Ken De Dycker. He controlled the race at each time. Only Marco Dorsch was able to ride the same lap times and finished in 2 nd . It was nice to see the “Joker” back on track in such a good shape. Dorsch had to pass many riders in the first lap. He looked fast and aggressive although he had still trouble with his injured eye. A lonely 3 rd place went to Avo Leok. German Andy Boller, surprisingly on a 2 – stroke sarholz Honda finished in 7 th behind team Suzuki riders Freibergs, Turpin and Izorid.

The main saw Ken De Dycker on top again. After a strong performance he was the deserved winner of the 35 th winter cross in Frankenbach. Kornel Nemeth was in 2 nd position from the start till the chequered flag. Local hero Marco Dorsch did the podium in third.

# 6 Local Hero Marco Dorsch made a nice Comeback.
From 8 th position he fought hard to become 3 rd. In this point of time De Dycker and Nemeth were to far away so Dorsch save his position. A further disadvantage for Dorsch was a rock slide on his healthy eye so his view was affected. 4 th place went to Dorsch's team mate Kadlacek. Boller and Siegl finished in 6 th and 9 th position.
